The Noordpark embarked on its successful sea trial on September 30, 2020, marking a milestone for the Besjes family.

With the trial completed to great satisfaction, the mission was celebrated with champagne, a fitting tribute to the vessel’s exceptional craftsmanship. The Noordpark, equipped with a 29-meter bunker boom, is owned by the Besjes family and operates under their trusted partnership with Burando Barging.

Like its sister ship, the Noordkaap, the Noordpark is 135 meters long and 17.55 meters wide, offering impressive capacity and performance. Built with precision, the ship features a carefully designed hull that was developed specifically to meet the needs of the Besjes family. Constructed at RensenDriessen Shipbuilding in Poland, the vessel follows a design blueprint that has already proven successful, with the Noordpark being the proud evolution of that vision.

The final stages of the ship’s construction were handled by the Besjes family in-house, with support from a trusted network of suppliers. Oonincx Scheepsonderhoud (OSO) played a crucial role in the outfitting of the vessel, ensuring that every aspect of the ship was finished to the highest standards. Their expertise in shipbuilding, coupled with their long-standing relationship with the Besjes family, contributed greatly to the Noordpark’s exceptional quality.
